seems to be a collection agency posing as a law firm

I got the same thing. But I have no debt to be collected and when I called them back they wouldn't remove my number and kept saying that I was lying about who I say I am. WTF how do I get these guys to quit calling me????

This so called who ever they are left a message not asking for anyone by name first. Then left two numbers that no one picks up at. Called at a weird time. They first sound like a law office but lawyers don't call after 5:00 pm unless its on going and you know about it. I did nothing wrong and owe no debt these people are weird they need to stop calling people if they are bored and go fishing or something.

I get a call from these guys about once a week from this number or another in the 303 area code (Denver).  I blocked the call; so they get a recording.  I guess they like listening to it.  They keep calling.  Anyway, an attorney friend tells me that no law office will contact you that way about "an important legal matter". So I just ignore it until I review the blocked calls on my phone number!

I got a call with a recording to this number so I called it.  I called it back ASAP as it concerned an important legal matter.  When I called back he knew immediately who I was (most likely he has caller id).  The man answered M J Hecker in which I proceeded to tell him his recording would not protect me if they had dialed the wrong number as the lady on the recording kept saying if you are not ____ ____ then hang up the phone, I will give you 3 seconds to do so.  He was a snipy fellow and spoke very rude to me.  He said he was trying to collect a debt and I owed 960.00 for an ambulance in Oklahoma.  I asked him could he give me a little more details as I had only rode in an ambulance once and it was from my job where they paid for it.  He spoke real rude to me and I told him do not call my number again that I did not owe the debt and if I did owe it was outside of the statute of limitation for 1998.  I have worked with several attorneys and not one of them have spoken to me in the manner in which M J Hecker spoke to me.

I agree with you about the people who work at that place. They are unlicensed people who pose as Lawyers. I had a loudmouth named S S and he was a real AH. Go into Complaints Board.com and see what other people complain about them.

I complained to the Colorado Attorney General about them and I hope they take care of them, the word should be spread about MJ Hecker!!!!!
