Received email from PayPal stating Hubs owed $499 through Bitcoin. Proceeded to call phone number and the guy said He had a $5,000 loan with all of these different charges pulled from it. Don’t have a PayPal account. When he said all you need to do is go to the nearest ATM......boom. Hung up. Idiot was slick.  I looked at email and it was fake. No additional account information nor hyperlink to fake account #.

I called this number because of the same Springfield armor amount.  I was told my account has been hacked by people in Russia, Ohio and New Mexico.. They have also trying to take out $5000loan on my PP account.  BUT when he said l needed to go to Dollar General in the next 10-15 minutes and buy 4 money cards @$100 each I knew something up.  I told him I had to pick up kids at school and could not possible do that.  He is going to call back in an hour.

Received an email from Springfield Armory LLC giving a Pay Pal receipt # for a purchase I never made.  I do not have an active Pay Pal account.  From line showed it was received from allisonschleicher5@gmail.com, not Pay Pal.  Tried calling the 866 furnished number but no answers and eventually received a Verizon message it was not available.  Beware!

I got an email from PayPal saying that I took a $4000.00 loan from them and that someone was using my account.  He said to fix it I had to go buy Google Play cards in the amount of $450.00.  He wanted to stay on the line and, sadly, had way too much information about me.  I called PayPal an. of course, it was a scam.  This guy was very convincing and almost had me!  Had an Indian accent.

Same as above.  Fake Paypal email invoice telling me I made a purchase for 499.99 to Fake company (Global Pacemind Infotech Inc.) for real guns sales entity (Adams Armory LLC).  Email stated "If you did not place this order please call us on +1(888) 803-1935 to report this to our fraud protection team."  This number was referenced in the email several times, for assistance, as a fraud protection number, etc., etc. and does not exist for any known entity.   I called and gave them the fake order number and Person X, asked me if I had Android or Iphone, and proceeded to have me download an app "AnyDesk Remote Control,"  without telling me for what.  Midway through I said "why do you need to remotely access my phone?"  His reply was for him to be able to refund me the charge???? from my Paypal account.  I had told him, I had very little in my Paypal account (there was no activity in my Paypal account), AND, this charge had not hit any account, including my bank account.  WHAT WAS HE GOING TO REFUND???  I cancelled, hung up and called the real Paypal who had me email the fake invoice to spoof@paypal.com for investigation.    I am going to report this number to the FBI Fraud division.
