I am getting 4 calls each day, the caller hang up once we answer, and when we call right back a recording asks to leave our number to be taken of their list. The recording doesn't give any other information. I don't trust this.

This is how many times this number has called and i have called 3 times now requesting they remove me from their call database.

This has become a recent problem for me.  Not only are they hitting a cell phone which charges for inbound and outbound, but they are disturbing me during the day - when I am often in meetings, and evenings.
Why cell phone carriers and manufacturers choose not to provide the consumer with an inbound call blocking - similar to your average email filtering - is a mystery to me.

I can only hope that somewhere in our U.S. legislative and judicial system, this number - which is attempting to reach me several times a day, and telemarketers like this, can be identified, stopped, and penalized.

they call every 15 minutes its anoying the crap out of me

This is a telemarketing company for radio stations.  In my area, Kalamazoo, Michigan, they represent WFAT 96.5 FM.  They're calling you to tell you something like this: "You're registered to win $1000.  All you have to do is listen between the hours of X:XX and X:XX for your name.  If we mention your name and you call us back, you win!!!"

I got the same treatment, about 6 calls in an hour and a half.  On the last one, I finally spoke to someone and gave them an earful.  WFAT is owned by Midwest Communications, Inc.  I've left messages with 3 or 4 Vice Presidents at their firm this evening.  Take a look at the ownership of radio stations in your area.  If they're also owned by Midwest Communications, feel free to give them a call and let them know what you think of their marketing efforts!

They have been calling every 15 minutes for the past 2 hours.  I'm in Kalamazoo MI.  I just answered and told them off an hung up.

Now it's the learning annex help desk.

They call often in the morning jolting me out of my sleep, phone rings twice, stops and then there is no message.

I'm in Nor Cal. Not getting it as bad as others, but it's still annoying nonetheless.

I have been getting calls from this number - 866-206-8373 - twice a day for the past 10 days or so.  When I called the number back (earlier today) I got an answering machine that said something like:

"Hi this is Mary.  I can't get to your call right now so leave me a message and I will get back to you"

Any idea on who/what this number is?

i get this call like every hour now.  it's very annoying.  i dont want to pick it up because i dont have any idea who this might be, just have a gut feeling that it would be a recording message or a telemarketer.....  is there a way to stop it??  i mean, if it's really urgent, they would have left a ton a message for me by now, but no, they call, i dont answer, they hang up.......

i get this call on my home phone and my cell phone.  Yesterday, they call me 4 or 5 times on each phone.  When I call back, I got the same message to leave my name and number to be taken off of their list.  I have call screen on my home phone so I added this on the list - no annoying call from them today.  I added this number to my cell phone list under the name of "stupid call" and put it on ringer id to "silent".  I didn't have to run to my phone for nothing today, but I did have at least 8 missed call from them today.

yep. i've been getting multiple calls from 866-207-5263. i re-registered again for the federal do-not-call registry. has anyone done this and if so, is it working?

I'm getting these calles on my cell.  My cell is for business.  When I hear my cell phone ring I drop what I'm doing to answer the call.  These calles started about 2 weeks ago.  Today I've been called at least 4 times.

Called AT&T they're no help.  They asked that I file a police report.

Just called Police Department.  I'm filling a police report.  They will put a detective on the case and will put out a warrant on this phone number.

I called The Learning Annex @ 310-478-6677 in LA and spoke with Ariba J (Supervisor) …to investigate a little further before filling my report with LAPD.

It turned out it was "My Learning Annex" Marketing Department.  They removed me from their call list.

Ariba J.’s , defense was,

“You were given an option to leave your phone number and be removed from our call list…you chose not to”.   Instead you chose to investigate.

To which I replied “who in their right mind would leave a phone number on a voice mail, when you don’t know who you’re calling”.

It's The Learning Annex. Just answer the phone and tell the person "Put me on your Do Not Call list." Then legally they can't call you anymore. They haven't called me since.

Don't say "take me off your list." That legally doesn't work.

I'm getting harassed from the same number as well, several times a day.

I don't get it, what are the gaining, they don't say ANYTHING, they just pause and the hangup.

I have been getting calls from 1-866-207-5263 for weeks now several times a day, too many to count and want to know if anyone has tried legal action against whomever this is. Has anyone reported them to the FTC for harassment? I am investigating both options, I have called them back and the message says if you want to be added to the do not call list leave your number, well I did and the calls have escalated.

I have also been getting frequent calls from this number.  I don't know what to do.  I tried to have it blocked but bell cant do that because it is a toll free #.  I need to make it stop!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO I DO!!!!?????
