UNKNOWN CALLER

When I answered this call to my cell phone this morning a recorded message played, "All of our customer representatives are busy." Then music played for a couple seconds and the call was disconnected. Ugh. What is this?

I got one today.  Same thing.

Received 2 calls from the same number on 1/23/08.

I also got a missed call on my cell phone.  
i'm glad i googled it.  and yes i also do have Piedmont NatGas Service. :S and i'm do have a balance. so i guess its time to pay up.. :P

I aint got no gas but the one up my butt crack. I dont need these fools calling me about a bill I dont have. Electric heating for me...gas is caveman.

get getting a call and no one on other end......if it is piedmont natural gas...I do not owe them any nor do they have this number

Piedmont Natural Gas bill collectors call the numbers previous or current customers leave with them. These days, most people leave cell numbers. IF you get calls from PNG.. just tell them to remove your cell number out of their database.. they will . If you dont take the time to answer the calls that are a mistake.. then your going to have to deal with this company looking for customers that owe them money.. No since in bitching about these unwanted calls. Take action. Its not that hard to do! ( rolls eyes at people who are ignorant and complain about things like this.)

Yes, it is difficult to do!  I do not have an account with them.  They keep calling my cell phone, yet no one is on the line when I answer.  So, I just called them from my land line, and I have now been on hold for 17 minutes (and counting).  Although my grammar does not include the word "aint", it is in Webster's Dictionary as slang.  Being judgemental helps no one including yourself.

I got 2 calls that went to voice mail at my business phone...  Listened to them and finally after 1 min 30 seconds some female on other end says 'Hello, hello?' then hangs up.

They start calling around 08:00 and continue until 20:00. When I answered, I got a recording. Now my time is just as important as anybody's and if they really wanted to talk to my butt, they should've been professional enough to have a human stay on the line. Ive added the number to my contacts as Piedmont Nat Gas and have a special "Rejection" Ring tone assigned to this number. You can get the rejection ring tome for free from Myxer.com

Yes, "Ain't "  IS a word. It has officially been adopted into the Oxford English Dictionary over 2 decades ago. You should do your homework before attempting to correct others.

I, too, have received a call on my work cell phone that I just activated yesterday. I have given this number to no one. Perhaps this number belonged to someone before me that owes money to PNG. I missed the first call, but when they call back, I will ask to be removed and am confident that PNG will comply.
