American Express Pre-paid Cards

Well, look at it like this.  If American Express owns a plastics factory, and charges everybody that gets a prepaid credit card $4.95 to buy one of their supposed preloaded cards. Then takes 4 -6 hours to allow the transaction through. Then when you're done with your cards.... or think you used every last penny you put onto the card. Then find out the last $4.95 you thought you had was left on the card. The Prepaid Credit card actually cost you approximately $10.00. SO $10.00 actually went to the credit card broker with no promises of  ever offering you another one, even though they say they are re-loadable. They can't be reload.
