This # calls my home 6 to 10 times a day

This number shows up on my caller ID several times a week, but never leaves a message.

I get the same call 3-4 times a day.  They always ask for Amy.  When I tell them they have a number for someone who doesnt live here, they say sorry and hang up.  Then they call back.

Its Capital One.  I asked them to remove the name Amy from my phone in their system.  Im told it takes 48 hours.  They keep calling and Im going to sue them.

Call them back and ask to speak to Sonya who is a supervisor.
She can remove you from the calling list.  Do not settle to talk to anyone else

ya it is for capone collections for peaple that have changed there address or phone number and capone cant find them for there bill

THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING ME 6 / 10 TIMES A DAY! I WANT  IT STOPPED. MY NUMBER IS USED AS AN OFFICE NUMBER!

They have called 28 times in the past 2 days. They do not answer when I answer nor do they leave voice mail. I finally called and was told they would take me off of the list since I do not have a Capital One account.

I "googled" the number & it's for Allied Interstate (a collection agency...?)...?  They call @ least five times a day.  Since I don't recognize the number, I never answer & they never leave a message.  I read several posts that say it's Capitol One.  I don't have a Capitol One account.

They keep calling me on my AOL phone number.  I googled and they are not Capital One.  Either way, they keep calling even though my number is on the 'no call list'.

These people call my house 8 times a day, never leaves a message, and the last time I spoke w/ someone they kept insisting that I take a message for someone that does not live here.  I told her if it is important, they need to send a letter in writing.  I'm going to call them 10 times a day and ask for someone that doesn't work there and insist on leaving a message.

I receive repeated calls from this toll free number and they hang up.  It's very annoying.  How do I stop it?

They call early am throught the day even weekends. They never leave msg.,
no company name shows on caller ID, just toll free and the number.
I signed up for the "Do not call list". I thought that these type of calls
are now illegal.

They keep calling even though we tell them not to. They call every half hour and wont leave a message or anything.

I am glad to see I am not alone. I keep getting the calls no Name on caller ID, no message. I have spent several hours already trying to get them to stop calling me, at least 4 times a day. What is their problem? It is not me they are looking for. Allied Interstate is a MAJOR PAIN. Someone else listed my phone number & is a dead beat. I am the one being continually harassed by these companies. Why must the people who do the right thing constantly suffer at the hands of the criminals? I have spoken to them repeatedly but I guess they are far too stupid to understand the other person LIED. Is it too far a stretch of the imagination that if they are not paying their bills, just maybe they lied about the phone number?

Pay your Capitol One Credit Card bill.

I just recently got these calls. I've had my cell phone number for a while so I know it can't be because of the previous person who had this number. I'm not even sure how they got my number in the first place because only my family knows it. The calls started out just once a day and kept on increasing. It is Capitol One and I've never had a Capitol One card, how weird. They basically would let the phone ring once and hang up 10 times a day, how stupid is that. I finally called them back because I was really irratated. I was so pissed when I called and told them I want them to stop calling. They told me that they are going to take my number out from their system. They didn't exactly tell me how long that was going to take. I'm guessing around 48 hours as it usually does, but if I'm still getting calls from them, I'm for sure going to report the number

Keep calling to my house and do not leave a message.

I received several calls from 866-207-8333, I called them and got a live person.  The said they were Allied Interstate and were calling due to Capital One giving them my number.  This was not the Allied Interstate Collection Agency. There is one though.  I spoke with the Supervisor Beverly and told her I have no accounts with Captial One and she stated she would mark it as a bad number. I've log a complaint with the donotcall.gov site.  This is exactly what they are for, to investigate companies calling and lying about how they recieved your number and know they did not check the Do Not Call list.  Please file your complaints.

Here's one for ya.  I have two phone lines, one business which is only 2 months old and one personal (4 years old).  The first call at 8:00 am asked for a person, I told them that they had the wrong number and they said sorry and hung up.  Minutes later my personal line rings.  Meanwhile I realize that the person that they asked for is my ex-husband's wife.  The second line rings and they ask for her again.   I explain to them that this is not her but it is my ex's wife and I haven't spoken to either in over 20 years.  They said sorry and hung up.   Sounds as if I'm going to have to deal with this for awhile.
