Target Optical for Contact Lens Refresh

It was Target Optical calling to see if I needed to order more of my contacts.  Something felt off though and I said no, even though I need them.

Annoying repeated calls from Charity clothing claiming they pickup unwanted clothes.  Will change their  phone number repeatedly to bypass when you block their  calls.  Very persistent and annoying.  SCAMMERS.

You are so right.  They called me.  I blocked them 3 times.  Each time, they call back from a different number with same 350 prefix to circumvent when people block their number.  You're right, annoying and suspect.

Got my eyes checked at target 2 years ago. Still on list for these annoying phone calls

Target optical saying I needed an annual eye exam. I have never had my eyes examined at Target, but did buy a pair of glasses from them. Very suspicious since it’s been several years and they’ve never called me before. What makes it more suspicious is that the number doesn’t match the Target optical store I visited.

Claimed to be Target Optical explaining that it appears how my contact prescription was low. I do go to Target for my annual appointments but have never had this kind of call before, the wording was off, and the location was wrong. Overall, made me suspicious enough to check the number out.

Said she was from Target Optical but didn't know my name or what i'd purchased in the past. Did Target get hacked?

I typically answer but will not utter one single word.  I let the phone running until they hang up. I do that to every telemarketer and scammer.  It makes them so irate that they eventually stop calling.

Person said it was time for my yearly exam and knew the correct store, but I had just been there 3 weeks ago for an exame. She said she would update the information. Didn't ask for anything else, but something seemed off.

Phone never rang, just had a voicemail out of nowhere.  Said they were from target optical and I had indicated I needed new contacts. Knew the exact brand, but I never reached out for more. Voice sounded real, but very off.

I got a call from this random number accusing to be target optical. I looked up target optical a number because I thought it was weird I’d get a call about an “I hope ready for me” and that the lady states that she “loves me.” Anyway... here is the message sent, “Hi Sydney this is Jessica calling from target optical regarding your I hope you _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ we just noticed that you _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_ this contacts _⁠_⁠_ that is _⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ case I would like to see you later love you give us a call back at 866-207-9036 so we can help you take care of that _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ for choosing target optical and I hope you _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ your _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_…”

Called me saying I needed to visit for an eye exam. They had all my information. I agreed to do an appointment. I will be calling my LensCrafters to see if I really do have an appointment.
