This number called and said it was from chase fraud department.  I called chase and they said they did not call.

a fraud number, chase confirmed, although I was stupid to enter the reference number they asked. I am not sure what to do sigh

Someone called from this number and left a VM with reference number. I called back and got suspicious and ended up disconnecting

Really a skimming #. Got voicemail today and said from Chase Fraud Dept. Called Chase directly and they said it's not their number. Chase should post this at their web site.

Someone called from this number stating they were Chase Fraud and gave reference # and stated that they noticed suspected activity on our bank account and they were correct! BUT........ They were the ones who hacked into the bank account and wrote a check.. and then they ask you info........... BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a similar call a few minutes back and then googled.

I received a call, they did not identify the bank but they had the last 4 numbers of the account.  I called Chase and Googled the number while I was on hold.  Chase did not call, it's a scam, and I'm blocking their number.  Be careful out there!

This was the Chase Fraud Dept, although the caller ID didn't show that information.  It was a legitimate automated call.  They wanted me to confirm a transaction I had initiated that day that only my bank would have known about.

It's legit.  I was wary at first because the Caller ID didn't show the name, but it truly is the Chase Bank Fraud Dept.

Lies! It is a number low lives use to try to scam you out of your money!

It is so apparant they are scammers.  They had no interest in the reference number they left, only my social or the owners social.   I hung up on them.

This is a fraudulent call.  Super scary because they had my name and the last four digits of my account number at Chase and I had just initiated a transaction this morning on my account.  I called the main customer service line for Chase that is listed on the back of my debit card and they checked and said they did not have any fraud alerts or holds on any of my accounts.  Do not call this number back!

I go a call from this number. The voice message it left has my last 4 digits of account number. I called the 800 number on my debit card and let them transfer to fraud department. First time they said they didn't send out any alert, but then they confirmed this number is from Chase self service. Later I called this number again and typed in the confirmation number and it lets me to verify an online activity I did today. So it does look legitimate but yeah Chase customer service couldn't locate this number in their directory. Anyway, it's a good idea not returning the call directly, but I think this number isn't a scam. (well things can be complicated as caller number can also be spoofed)

Called as Chase Fraud protection and left reference number. It is attempt to get information. The two "positive" reviews on this page are from the same person, probably in on the scam.

Got a call claiming it was Chase Bank fraud dept. - and had 4 numbers of my account, but I couldn't verify this phone #, didn't call this number back. Called Chase main 800-935-9935. Chase verified that this is their robocaller number. They were contacting me about a large check I had written, making sure it was legit. They just have super awkward customer service, as I had to be transferred to the fraud dept, and verify my info 2-3 times, and was asked why I was calling 2 times.

Be careful .They asked your SS # .checked with Chase official number .said there is no fraud activity on my account. I just will never never ever give out any ss# and don't trust anyone asking your ss#  over telephone. Block and hang up on this scammer.
