Case filed against me, didn't give company name, said he needed my home address and work address to serve me.  Gave me a case number.
I would think if there was a case against me the company would have my home address.

They called me under a number in my area code and told me to call this 866 number and told me they are coming to my work and home with notification papers I have received calls such as this before if anyone knows who this is please let me know.

Received a similar call today. The number was from my area code and the lady said I may have a claim against me and she needs my address at home and work to serve me papers. If it was legit, they would already have that info. At least I'd think they would. Sounds like another scam to me.

Someone from this number called me and said I have a case of fraud against me.  They had an old address and banking information from 5 years ago.  They stated they were coming into my work to deliver these documents.  Also, they didn't give me a company name when I called it, they just answered the phone saying document processing department.  It's got me a little bothered this morning.

I just received a similar call and they would not tell me what claim was against me.  He would not provide any information to me at all but as he hung up he stated "I had been put on notice".  This is crazy, the phone call was less then 5 mins long.  No clue what this is
