These people called me and insisted they were with Internal Revenue Service and said that a lawsuit had been issued against me and a non-bailable warrant had been issued for my arrest I called them back and everytime I press them for details or employee ID numbers they hung up after about 5 times I just knew it was a scam and Let It Go!!! Unbelievable!!

Irs scammers  says its officer eric .. Hang up report to your phone company so they can block. Irs does not call  they send notices in the mail to prevent mix ups..Please advise elderly friends and family

These people called me while i was at work an said the irs had a lawsuit against me these is a scam

They called and said a lawsuit was filed against
me by the IRS and a non-billable arrest warrant had been issued. Scared me to death.
I believe its a scam.

I received a call this Morning from a man that claimed to be from the IRS. He asked to speak to Fonnie, which is my nickname. I knew right off it was a scam. I just said that she is unable to talk to you, and do not call this number again. I am so tired of all these scams calling me.

This number called me back after I hung up on an earlier call from a site purporting to be Microsoft. My Microsoft Edge browser had frozen with a scary warning that it had been compromised. The browser would not close down. The message said to call 866-813-1560 to fix it. I called that number and it was answered suspiciously quickly. The agent ran me through several steps and became clear that he wanted access to my computer. I hung up and called tech support at my university. They said that this was a scam, intended to take over my computer. The fix was to restart the computer. And did that and the browser was unfrozen.

They told me that they were from Microsoft and wanted to know my information so they can clear an error??? Don't trust them.

8/16/23 A few weeks ago firefox browser froze with a # to call. When I called I was led thru a process to clear the freeze. Asked certain questions about accounts which I declined to answer. Today at 2:30 pm "Allen" from "microsoft" called. Another problem. Call him at 866-217-0455 ASAP. Browser working fine, so I did not return call.
