Got a call and ID says "Potential Fraud." Voicemail says, "...so before we move forward with the lawsuit and the legal allegation contact us as soon as possible on 866-217-4380." I can't find this number anywhere that belongs to a legitimate company.

What legitimate business would call and leave this type of a recorded threat on your voicemail.  It is a typical scammer.

Recording claiming to be IRS threatening to arrest me  if I didn't return call immediately.

they claim to be the IRS and you should know the IRS will not call you. They are very rude on the phone and told me to shut uo and i told them to bite me and hung up. They have an Indian accent!!!

Really! How many frickin idiots are going to pose as the IRS. I have had 5 different numbers call saying they were IRS.

They called me just now, and this is what I did. Called them back they ask to verify name and address. Refuse to give up any other info. They will say their from the IRS and if your aware of a law suit against you. Your reply should be" I am an attorney for the irs( and give the IRS street address) then tell them any floor. Example: really, well If there was a law suit I would know it since I'm one of the attorneys fhat work for the IRS right on the 5th floor. Watch how fast they hang up when you say that in a professional manner.tou won't here from that number for at least 6 month. All others do the same thing.

Did that same thing, but now they call me a lot more often. I am tired of talking to them, wish I never even talked to them, now I have more numbers to block.

Just called me, I called back. Middle Eastern [***] says it's the IRS and game me some IRS code number. He asked who I was and I simply said " I work for the FBI, I'm an agent and he wouldn't have my number " ... He sure hung up fast. Scammers.

the recording said that the IRS is coming to arrested me.  I know this is a total scam, IRS DOESNT CALL YOU!!!!! They mail you a letter

I received an electronic recorded message that a warrant had been issued and that I was to call 866-217-4380.  I called from my work number and a middle eastern lady answered IRS, I asked if she work for IRS and she said yes.  Then I stated that the IRS would send notification by mail and she hung up on me.

Answered phone and got the automated message saying IRS...lawsuit...arrest warrant...etc
I know this is a scam so I just hung up.

i work in law enforcement, turned over number to our detectives, IRS and the FBI to investigate, they have been calling for some time. scam
