866-217-5447

I was called twice but I did not answer. They left a message saying that his name was Joe Butnik from the B of A Fraud Dept/card Services and he asked me to call back the 866-217-5447 number

The number is legit.  It's FIA card services, an issuer of various affinity credit cards.  Specifically, this number is their fraud department.  They call when they detect suspicious activity on the credit card accounts they service.  I recall that FIA may be a branch of B of A.  They monitor things pretty closely.  I've been contacted by them 2-3 times over the past year -- usually right after I make some type of change to my account online.

Anyway I called the number back with the intent to stay tight-lipped, but they only asked for my name & zip code and were able to pull up all the info on my account and tell ME my acct number and address.  They were concerned because I had recently changed the phone number on my account.

Definitely legit. Just called bank of america this very second (still on the phone with them) and they have verified it is a legit theres.

Folks- Never return a call, or email, to a utility, bank, or credit card company. Use the phone book, statement, or back of card. People say these numbers are real, but it is VERY easy to spoof a phone number. You could be calling anywhere in the world.

I just received a call from  Card Services, the only name I was given. She said she was checking suspicious activity on my account but could not give me the name of bank on card nor could she match the telephone number she had called me on. Said I needed to give her my account number to research this charge. I told her I could not do that and hung up.

I didn't answer, but the message left was Bank of America Fraud Dept per Visa card. They had my first & last name. Not 100% sure if legit.

Returned the phone call very suspicious claim they're from Bank of America but did not ask to verify anything which bank of America always verify who I am with lots and lots of questions therefore I am claiming this number fraudulent spam and scam

this call stated " This is very important regarding an account within our office and stated this call is from Benchmark. when I looked up the number it came up as a siding business
