tried to charge my master caed

I get calls from 231-732-2735,  "Order Confirmation Department". I ignore the calls and actually called back, listened to their recording, and was suggested to call 866-217-6866. Dialed the 866 # , rang once, then immediately a rapid busy signal. Last call: 7/20/10 @ 2:10 pm EDST.  Was receiving same calls from an area code starting with a "6"....  (Didn't save the call log)

I get these calls from 231-732-2735 and also from 269-768-2622. I am unable to call back the 269 number but get a recording on the 231 number with regard to confirmation about an order I placed. I have no idea what this is about and will try to answer next time to give them a piece of my mind.

I started getting this calls recently since last thurs from 231-217-6866 , calling me during inconv times of the day so i let it go to voicemail. but it didnt leave a message ...so i called  it back and it stated about an order confirmation and this will not affect my delivery ...but i didnt order anything...so i pressed 3 to remove my name permantly from their call list......about 5 mins later they call again....(call me lucky i guess) a man ans the phone and stated my name and said you are a preferred cust and since you have ordered from your master card ending in numb XXXX you get $150 worth of free gas cards....i then cut him off, stating NO NO NO i havent ordered anything from anybody, thats a lie, who is this, how did you get my call numb...NO NO NO i need some ans,....but then he hung up in my face....
its got to be a SCAM i called the numb back but it gave me that same voicemail as before and a 1-866-217-6866 numb ...but that line was always busy....
i researched the other 231 numb and its a landline from somewhere in mich....all i know is if i see some fraud charges on my card ima be one pissed mama..... so you guys you know what you have to do....

These [***] just called me too from 866-217-6866 about a "free gas card" offer - when I asked where she was calling from she would not say, and when I shouted repeatedly that I was NOT interested she just kept talking through her pitch and thanks me for allowing her to charge my card.  When I tried calling back, they direct you to 616-613-2050 to speak with a representative - but surprise, surprise it's just a fast busy signal.  Bottom line, I just cancelled that card to prevent their scam - what a pain.  This is the most unscrupulous agency I have ever experienced.

I have been getting calls from this number too. Finally, I answered the call tonight, was told I won $120 gas card and that I would also be sent coupons as a preferred customer, and would be charged just shipping of $2.95. I told the lady I wasnt interested and she got all pissy with me saying " well what has made you change your mind, a minute ago you were interested". I told her I had already explained to the previous person that I wasnt interested and again she got pissy with me'. I chewed her out stating "excuse me but dare you [***] call me, presssure me to buy something I dont want' You are trying to charge my card with something I dont want, so dont you dare get pissy with me young lady" At that she said "well have a GRESAT night" and hung up on me. I am cancelling my card as I am very suspicious about this call and am going to report this number to the police.

I have been getting the same calls. Has anyone actually had them charge to your credit card? I will call my credit card company to report it. Don't even try to get back with them. It is impossible. Definately a scam. It came up on my caller ID as YCONFIRMORDERS 269-477-2157
