This was a call from "Officer Craig Williams". He had a thick accent and said if I did not return the call either myself or my attorney, I would face circumstances. This is definitely a fraudulent call and I am reporting to the police. Do not be fooled by this.

Same thing, received a call, did not pick up then listened to message and it said officer "Craig Williams" urging me to call back or I would face circumstances.

Same, got the exact same call, definitely a scam, reported to the police, do not respond under any circumstances

Left a voicemail - exact same message and details as others have put here. Glad I read this before returning his very "urgent" call. Scary.

Got a call of from the same number above at 2.10 p.m., Toronto time. Because of the thick accent and the coarse tone, I did not fully understand. It was a very scary experience though.

I just received the same message on m cell phone. It's obviously a scam. Don't be fooled by it.

Called 10 minutes ago in Edmonton. I am guessing ESL African.
How sad he means to frighten someone (like his mother - trusting and elderly) enough to rob them.
Put your efforts into a legitimate job and live at peace.

Was at work and this person left a voicemail stating that it was officer Craig Williams and i need to return this call if i do not call or have my attorney call i would face circumstances and that he wished me luck.. not verbatum but pretty close... Definitely a scam, did not and will not return the call problem is its a business phone so i am hopnig they do not call again.

Pretty obvious something's up when the "CRA" takes a tone like they did on this message. VERY threatening sounding, but obviously this is a scare tactic. Really too bad I couldn't get through to him, I wanted to chat and find out more, but the line goes through to a list of dead extensions and nobody is on the other end... Makes me wonder how successful they expect to be if they don't pick up the calls they're urging everyone else to make. I'll give them another try in the next hour and see if they have time for my call....
