Someone claiming to be from Canada Revenue Agency and that taxes are owing. A check with CRA confirms that no one did call.

I got a call from this number yesterday and they really had me going because I had just e-filed days prior.  Started out by me receiving a "recorded" message saying it was from CFA and time sensitive.  Person said that I had been "re-assessed" months prior and had ignored notifications and that I owed over $1,500.00...that my file had gone to fraud department but if I paid up I could avoid some $75,000.00 in penalties.  Had me going for a few minutes and then I hung up on them.

Automated message from CRA that they are going to take action on me. I said sure go ahead.

Just received a recorded call from this number saying they were the CRA and that it was time sensitive. Glad I checked. I will block their number!

claimed to be Canada Revenue Agency and said it was urgent. When I called bad, there was a poor connection with interference on the line, which made me suspicious. I then looked up the number, found this site, and told them they are a scam.
