Same call...it is a debt collector..said I getting served and someone at my home or office needs to be present to sign....UGH! I told them that it doesn't work that way. They do not warm people if that are planning on sending them a summons."Sir, in two days we have to serve you with a warrant to go to jail", what do you think is going to happen, they will run. It is a scare tactic and they are not allowed to do it but they will even if it against the law. Just keep blocking them from your phone and they will call from multiple numbers.

left a message that i need to be ready to sign for a summons to appear in court or i could face going to jail for failure to appear. i've been summoned a few times for various reasons. they don't call.. the sheriff or process server just shows up and hands it to you without warning. you CAN go to jail for no show, but only if you have been properly served.

Someone called me from this number I asked who they were and he hung up on me. When I called back someone else answered and called me someone else's name, from an incorrect caller ID. Told me he was looking for me and knew my business name, but had my last name wrong so I said I didn't know who that person was. He said I had a legal issue and they would update the clerk in my county and he tried to make a connection between my name, my business name, my husbands name and the name he had me listed under which was wrong. Clearly they don't know what they're doing and I don't have any collection issues so this must be a scam.

Thank you for your post. We got a phone message from Franklin Jones - I couldn't understand the name of the business but it did sound like Priority something Services. They didn't say if it was for me or my husband. I'm definitely going to ignore it.

For the 4th time this week, I got a call from 877-215-6994.  (also 2x from 866-217-8948)  I work from a home office, so it's not unusually to get calls from all over the U.S., so I answered it all 4 times and it was always a recording "This is Clarence Jones with priority legal caring services, and I have a summons in hand for you. I'm scheduled to go out to your home in Place apartment within the next 24 to 48 hours. Please make yourself available with two valid forms of ID. If you are serve your summons at work a supervisor has Security will need to be available to sign off as a witness. Please be advised failure to sign for the summons, maybe Sultan in this court appearance. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the filing party at 877-215-6994. Or you may press 1 after the tone to me directly."    This last time, I pushed 1 to speak to someone.   I have a background in credit/collections, family members all over law and law enforcement (paralegal, FBI agent, several who are police officers (city/county/state), and 1 DEA agent-  too many to NOT have been warned about this scam.   I asked who they were trying to reach... he never once asked my name.  He asked if it was from the number I was calling from (caller ID).  Yes (which would clearly have shown my name)   He said they were trying to reach a June Collins.   Told him he had the wrong number.  He got defensive, as if I was "pretending" not to be June Collins.  I ended up telling him he called the wrong person - and told him about my family ties to law enforcement, particularly of scam/fraud schemes.  He became very calm and tried to convince me not to report them because "since you're not June Collins, this doesn't have anything to do with you".  Told him he involved me when he called my house, and my mobile numbers.   Suggested he Google his own toll free number to read all the reports of this scam -
