All the caller ID read was "Unknown Name" and then "514" for the number. They left the "call us at 866-217-9080" message on the answering machine.

a Mr. Joseph Taylor called about outstanding account with AT & T. Knowing I don't use or have any dealing with AT & T, I hang up the phone...another scammer calling......

A Lori Morgan called my grandfathers house looking for me. We don't even have the same last name and I've never lived with him. This is really pissing me off! There is no reason to bother an 80 year old man with calls! I have no idea what it's about.

Same Joseph Taylor called left a voicemail.  Just left this number for call back, no other info on voicemail

I received a call from Joseph Taylor.  He asked that I return his call at (866)217-9080, but he called from a (718)210-3698 number.  It seems that both numbers belong to Rosalind Financial Group, but this still smells like some kind of scam.

Called asking for my husband.  The caller left his name as Scott Adams.

Probably a collection agency.

just got a call from Joseph Taylor using 713-401-3186 asking that either myself or my daughter call him back immediately at 866-217-9080. Neither one of us has a bill or anything  with each others name on them, only our school loans and we are both still in college.

ok found out that it is for my daughters housing from another school she attended and that she HAS BEEN paying OFF. so why in the world is he now harassing me? I told her to tell him never to call here again or I would sue him for harassment on my part.

These idiots are "bottom feeders", that is, a collection agency that keeps trying to collect debts that CAN NOT be collected by law (statute of limitiations expired), but hope someone will pay anyway.  They can't collect legally and they can't sue for collection.  They are modern day gansters.  Ignore them, do not return any call, do not respond to any mail!!! Is this, all you have to do, all day long is pick on peoples question's or comments. If you know the law then you know that you are innocent tell proven guilty. Asking a question or adding two cents is not an admission of guilt. (I had one of these and it was a bill under someone else's name to who used to have the cell number or phone number last, because cell phone companys and telephone companys reuse there numbers, its called recycling I worked for U.S. Cellular for 8 years, which sometimes you get someones old registered number, and the so called collector doesn't realize the number has been re-giving out to some other consumer.) To me with the way you reply and are constently verbally degrading these users. Shows A. You work for so said collection company. or B. Your the deadbeat that has nothing better to do but post rude and unacceptable replys to these posts. People are looking for help, don't scare the crap out of them, don't verbally degrade them, cause that will get you both no where.

Tell them what you feel politely once. Then leave it at that. If you can't do that then you've got a serious problem. And need to get a social life, cause your social life is revolved in posting comments on a user board.

Stay postive people, don't listen to the demening and demoralizing remaks people like this make.

This is Roslin Financial group - The purchased dead accounts from AT&T. They are trying to collect on this and will call from what they think is a local area code to your phone. Not only are they trying to collect on an account they said was closed in 2000, but it is not even an account I had and that is against the law. As a result I sent my lawyer after them, but they failed to recognize that and continue to call. They are breaking the law and have no ability to force anyone to pay a dime. If you pay anything to them you are only helping firms like this badger.

What is nice is with a little digging you can find all their actual locations they do work out of and actual employees (I have seen very famous names that their employee's use like Eva Carter and Scott Adams) and I suggest that you give this information to your lawyers to pursue.

Since I have no outstanding debt with anyone it was pretty easy to finger these people as crooks. They are not scammers necessarily, but they are not following the law and they are trying very hard to collect on a debt that is not valid.

Also if you have one of the newer smartphones you can install apps that will automatically block the known numbers from Roslin from making it in. They get auto-hung up on. The best thing is to not talk to them. They will try to re-issue the debt on your credit and mark you as a valid contact and then chase you for as long as they can.

They called from 305-714-7801- left a message on my voice mail saying this wasn't a marketing or sales call and asked for a returned call at 866-217-9080.

They called me 3 times in a row... then they called my husband right afterwards. Not sure how they got our numbers, but since I have the Droid X, I blocked Mr. Scott Adams from ever calling me again. [***]! I have always had Verizon since like 2004. So he can kiss Rosie.

Yes, just got a call from a localized number in Chicago, they call everytime now from a 312 number 312-348-6030, but told me to call back @ 866-217-9080. I know who they are, they are trying to extract a debt from me, that I paid for with the ORIGINAL company, saying they bought my debt. Sorry folks, you get nada from me. I kinda knew it was a scam. It pays to research every number that calls you these days.

I have told "Andre" to not call my job and he has been anyway. I am not allowed personal calls at work.

This company just started to call and are asking for my brother, but he died 16 years ago. They first called my mother in law who lives like 5 states away asking for my brother. She didn't know what was going on so my mother in law gave them my wife's cell number. This company also called my ex wife of 20years ago and asked her for my brother.
I can't believe this company has found people in my life to call and try to find my brother who as I said passed away 16years ago. They haven't tried to call me at all. How are they finding people who are from my past???? I tried calling the number 1-866-217-9080 ext 126 but no answer, I will call and tell them to kiss my [***] after seeing that other people are having the same issues. GOOD LUCK getting money from the DEAD!!!!!

I got a call for the first time from this place today. They don't say what company they're from, only a number to call back.
I don't have any debts now, so I do not know who this is from but...
A lot of time, collection companies will buy very old debts for pennies and then try to collect from the person, even if the debt is years old.
A company tried to do this for a debt that was over 13 years old and already off my credit report but they tried anyway.

Missed call and voicemail from 866-217-9080. No information was given at all, except a voice recorded (female) voice stating the number twice.

I've read all the above comments... I have never had AT&T... Don't know who/what it is or what is wanted, but, unless a HUMAN BEING leaves a clear and precise message, I would have no reason to call back anyway.
