Called 5 times in a row and let it only ring twice before the number hung up. Scam most likely. I will not answer

Obvious scammers who claim they need to talk about a "document in their office." The ask to call 844-750-0176 to talk about it. Blocked it.

Got message on answering machine (ha ha old school)
They said they were PG&E and immediate shut off was scheduled for My house.
Funny, in these I say “Funky times of Covid-19
I pay my bills well before hand and have called the past few days in a row to the 800-743-5000 legit number
The message said”No Payment Due”
Keep up on the bills and you can spot the crooks

Got a local phone call (408) 641-2500 they left a voice mail saying they were pg&e and they needed me to call the 866 # to avoid power shut off

got phone call from a local number 772-237-0318 saying to call 866-217-9857 or my power was going to be shut off in 30 minutes.  My bills are paid and up to date.  Scam!

Left Message indicated FPL was going to disconnect power in 30 mins

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not have an account with the power company and they insisted they I did. I asked them if I did and there is a name attached to my number then what is the name and they would not give it to me. They said I can pay now or make a couple of payments. I asked for their mailing address so I can send a check over night and they hung up!! I called again and again I asked to what address can I overnight a check (Just to see if they were legit) and they hung up again. I then called them back and told them I was reporting this to the Federal Government and they blocked my number!!!!!!!...…..hahahahahahahahahaha

They wanted me to call back to avoid my power being shut off they were pretending to be FPL Florida Power and Light my electric company.

Just called and left an electronic message claiming to be Florida Power and Light. It said they were about to turn off my power. I checked. My bill is paid up. and that's not their number.

Says they are f ty om the electric co & my power will be shut off in 30mins on a saturday. Really?! This number doesnt show up on my bill nor is my power in danger of shutting off.
