sur mon i pad  ce numero  m,ordonne d,appeler  la  compagnie APPLE  car je suis en train de me faire pirater .et de le faire immediatement......et il gele mon ecran  .....apres avoir appeler  la  boutique APPLE  de ma ville ......il me dise que ce n,est pas  un numero d,apple et que c'est  la premiere fois  qu'il apprenne cela..........apres verification  ce serait un appel de Las Vegas  un vendeur  de produit  pour diabetiques  

I was using my iPad browsing the Internet and a window pop up asking me to contact this number due to suspicious activities detected.  When called, they asked to remotely access my computer using logmein and claimed they detected something and asked if I wanted them to fix. I felt suspicious and asked them to stop.  My Safari still freeze, so I chat with Apple.  They told me that was not their number.  Definitely some hacker.  Beware!!

Forgot to mention, they put down http://safari-alert.com and Major security issue and ask to call this number. Such message Won't go away.

Trying clearing history or cache

Had a user with this issue today.  Definitely a scam.

To fix this on an iPad, turn of your wifi in settings, double press Home and exit out of Safari, open safari back up and close the page to http://safari-alert.com, then turn wifi back on.  Might want to clear your history to keep from accidentally clicking it in your recent pages, too.

i am facing same problem since yesterday, and I try to call this freaking number the guy was so rood, any way
definitely its a SCAAAM, because once I called again today, the guy told me to connect my phone to the computer to fix. I did not like it so I decide to hang out and do it my self. 100% worked
1. go to settings
2. scroll down safari
3. press Clear history and website data
and your problem will go away

It also happened to me this morning. What I did was go to settings then safari clear history and website data. It worked
