We got a call from this number early on a Saturday morning.  After having received a ton of calls from unknown 800 numbers, my husband picked up.  He was very short with the lady on the phone, wanting to know what this was in regards to.  She said it was regarding a donation I had made to their organization.  She didn't say what the organization was and got an attitude with my husband when he asked her not to call back.  If you know what this organization is, I'd love to hear.

Same deal, been getting 2-5 calls a day from this number, all hang-up calls.  The stupid phone company said they could block it, but it would cost us.  Or we could change our number. No idea who it could be, or why they bother calling if they hang up.

I've been getting calls from this number for weeks. No message if we don't answer and when we do there is a blast of static, never a voice.  We're getting four or five a day. I'd sure like to find out who it is and why they are calling.  I wonder if they're just calling in South Central Tx.  My caller ID says it's an unknown name.

Caller stated 'there are a lot of children dying".... I assume the caller anted to solicit a donation, but I didn't ask the organization's name. I hung up.

I picked up. Its a Charity for Kids and they want to grant wishes to dying children. It is NOT Make A Wish Foundation. I told the guy I did not want to donate and he pressured me to give just a little. I refused and told him to take me off the call lst. We will see.

On August 30th, 7:30 a.m., received "another" call from this "supposedly" a charity............. on August 31st, 8:00 p.m., the same telephone number which had a voice coming to my phone line stating you must hang up and call again........

When are these calls ever going to stop.

Again, another harrasing call from 866-220-0708, on September 1, 2009, at 2:00 p.m..  This time they hung up immediately.

If this is not harrassing, I don't know what its called .........

These people apparently are not human and are stupid and ignorant to continue this harrasment.

They claimed Children's Cancer Network. Ask for a donation. ASKED FOR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.

They're calling us, as well.  Can't get them to stop, and it's happening at all hours of the day.  How do we stop this?

Charity my rump. Person on other end of phone said it was charity for kids with cancer. I said I never heard of them and what was their address. Caller ignored me and said if I made a donation it would go immediately to fulfilling children's wishes.  I said "if you won't give me your address why would I give you my credit card?" and then hung up.

Here are some more numbrs you will gt calls from
8668062380, 8668027862, 8668080880.  Seems to be a problem throughout the country.  The last place said they were from the displaced veterans organization.  We don't donate to anyone either.  I filed a complaint with the do not call list.  No help so far.  PLease ask everyone to file a complaint with their local police and the do not call list.

Called me after 9pm. Tried to call back. No answer. How can I stop this?

Same as above. Never had Caller ID before but finding it very useful. Finally called back this # this am but no response.

We get probably 3 calls a day. We never answer the phone and they never leave a message. Any suggestions on how to make it stop?

i have filed a complaint as well with the do not call. This company calls me everyday at least 3 times or more to even include starting early on Saturday. One man asked if we hunted since we lived "out in Kentucky" like he assumed only rednecks live here. I told him we were not interested and to please stop calling and wanted to argue and I told him I was reporting this number and he said he was "doin his job". No luck yet.

let me correct that one part. I meant to say he (the person calling me) wanted to argue with me on the phone. Sorry

Have been getting calls from this number every morning around 8:15 am. I do not answer but and getting tired of being woken up since I work a late shift.  One would think they would get tired of having a fax tone go off in their ear since we hooked up our machine.

We get a call every night from this number at ~7pm, no one on the line.  I understand that data is collected on whether you are home or not, ostensibly yes if you answer the phone.
