Getting frequent calls from this number.

Calls, leaves a message saying to stay on line they must talk to me. My machine ends message so I have no idea who this is that is calling?

This is Encore, This is a collections company trying to collect for Capital One credit card-so if you have a credit card that might be it.

They called me 5 times in a row for my wife. i told them it was my wife, and i wanted them to stop calling, they said they wouldn't. i then asked for their address to send them a letter, and they refused.

I get the same thing...told me I want your bank acount number ...and then told me was not getting there address..as I want something in the mail..told me no you will not send us a check..told them you are nuts and not giving you anything over the phone ..you could be Joe Blow down the road...And still calls me

Just received a call from a number 3199 (only)stating it wass regarding a student loan and he gave the last four numbers of a social security number.  I asked him what the entire SSN was and he gave it to me.  Are they kidding?  Calling and asking for a person and then giving their SSN too!  He would not say what company he was with.  Has anyone had this call before?
