They call and leave messages asking to call them immediately. I don't see any reason to call them as I see no changes in my credit report.

Same thing happened to me, i just ignored it. I did not see any changes in my credit report either

Same thing,got a threating call yesterday afternoon stating that if I do not call them immediately,that they were going to basically hunt me down like a dog...more power to them..!

Funny thing is I just talked with Barclay's(whom this credit is due with originally) 2 days before, told them our problems,stated we were going through bankruptcy and forclosure...and no sooner than the body gets cold,they threw us to these fricking morons..!

Funny thing is, going back to yesterday, Apex had stated in their message that they have been trying to call for some time now..(BullS**t) and also,we received a statement in the mail just yesterday 2 hours before they called here,stating that they were an collection agency trying to collect this debt for Barclay's....they certainly work quickly there ,I'll give them credit where credit is due...so to speak(no pun intended)....listen,I cannot fault Barclay's for wanting their money....we fell into the hell like so many have from this armpit of an economy we're all in......Apex, will get me live the next time they call here.....I'll have my say,because I have already spoke with my attorney beforehand,she told me exactly what to say and what not to....I'm just hoping they try testing me,I have a lot of the answers they do not want to hear..!

You guys are right.  The original debts are written-off if not collected.  They sell bad debts for a fraction of the amount.  Collection agencies [***], lie and say anything to collect.  After a few months of calling and harassing with no results, they in-turn sell it to another collection agency.  This is where all the morons are hired, because they are not qualified for anything else.  They are not doctors, lawyers, engineers or any other productive members of society.  They are the scum of the earth.  All they can do is a repetitious, low level, menial task.

What did your attorney tell you to say to them if you don't mind my asking.

is it our fault you losers cant pay your bills, know one told you to charge $5000.00 on a cc. what do u think happens after that. interest , late fees. you all signed for it dont blame the collector. if any of u get a job in this industry you will know what i mean about hearing the complaints of you losers all day. try calling a mexican debtor!!! bottom line is dont blame anyone for your poor financial judgments losers
