Called at exactly 9 am, did not leave a message.

called around 10:30 am, did not leave a message.

Company calling is NCO.  This is a collection company.

NCO is the Nicor Gas Collection Company. You are probably past due on your gas bill. They usually are calling to tell you that they are going to shut your gas off. You should answer the call and set up a payment arrangement with them. This will avoid your service being interrupted....like mine just was. I now won't have hot water for 4 days. I should have answered the phone. :(

I've been geting calls from different phone numbers since about a year. First calls was identified as NCO Financial Systems in caller ID. Calls are done without a pattern, but the first month they were daily.

When I called back I heard noises over the phone as if my call were being transmited from one commuter to another, I hang down. It seemed weird. It seems these calls are made by a computer and maybe they can detect if their call is answered by a person or answer machine.

Lately the calls aren't identified, just "Call out of area" or "Unknown caller" (depending on the phone brand) but checking them out through internet almost all numbers converge on NCO Financial Systems.

I never answer or call back to a non-identified caller. I've seen a lot of complains about this collectors company. I've been getting the same utilities and landlords providers the las 6 years. I hold every monthly bill I'd pay them, no missing even one. Otherwise the service should be cut out.

THESE PEOPLE FROM NCO THINK THEY ARE GOING TO CATH FULL PEOPLE TO PAY THEM WHATEVER THEY ASK. THEY HAVE MY PROMISE, I'M WORKING ON BRING THEM IN TRUBLES. AND BELIEVE ME, THEY GONNA HAVE THEM.
