Got a letter in the mail stating "There will be a Price Increase to our Extended Vehicle Service Plans (EVSP) effective February 27, 2020. After that date we will not be able to honor the service contract pricing designed specifically for your...."

I got the same type of letter today and I have called this company in the past to get them to take me off their mailing and phone list. they honor it for about six months it seems.  what gets me tho, is the car they are talking about I have not owned in four years!

Got a pink notice in the mail from them about a vehicle protection update.  NOT A PHONE CALL!

How do they get this information? Is nothing sacred in today’s world?

Some sleaze ball company, probably associated with those CRIMINALLY comported creeps at Car Shield.

I would like to know where they get the Owner's info from.  Is Toyota selling my personal info?  When the letters stop, the phone calls start.

Public records from DMV /BMV in any state.
It is easy to harass people with this unrestricted data collected by all states.  They act like they are doing you a favor by helping protect your car manufacturer's warranty.  But it is a scam or scam for over priced unnecessary insurance.

The information is not "public record"  However the DMV sells the information unless you "opt out".  Since no one actually knows their information is being sold they don't know to opt out.  Two websites that give some pretty good information:

Tried to sell me an extended warranty on my 1987 Chevrolet, the caller said it was either out of warranty or getting towards the end of the manufacturers warranty.

Received letter with this phone # to call about extending vehicle warranty on a 2009 vehicle with over 100K miles.  The vehicle was purchased in MY name but the letter was addressed to MY HUSBAND! Also receiving calls with bogus caller ID to make it look like a local call asking me to renew vehicle warranty.  This is a SCAM! Do not fall for it!

Received pink card  about my car and called the number. They said my warranty has been revamped to include oil changes and break service. They asked for my bank account info and when I said I didn't have it on me and that the extended warranty was included in my loan the disconnected the call. SCAM!

I received the same pink card talkingabout a protection plan update needed.  No company name, just a phone number.   Clearly a scam trying to use color and trigger words to illicit a response.

I got the same note but yellow they said that it would give free oil changes and towing from 3k+ miles away from my home this is a scam please don’t fall for it it is a cheap trick to take your money

got one of those pink cards in the mail too, suspected that it was a scam, since it was addressed to to my father about his 2005 kia, kia was destroyed in an accident he had in 2018 and dad died in late 2018 (of old age), i so i suspect any thing that comes with his name on it.

Grandparent received a letter from Endurance Dealer Services that included this number.  They're a scam. Endurance Warranty Services, LLC (EWS).
