This number called me and left a message regarding an "order submitted to their office".  Gave me a reference number and a phone number and ended the call with "you have been notified".  They also called my sister and gave her the same spiel.  Any time the call ends with "you have been notified", I know it's a scam.  I filed a report with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Received call from number 317-316-9125 give claim number and that I have been notified and also reaching out to my mom.

I just received the same voicemail.

I need to clarify my entry from yesterday.  The initial call is from a spoofed local number.  That is Prime Locator Services.  They then advise you to call 866-226-3672, and that is Global Asset Recovery. Prime Locator Services won't stop calling you, your friends and family until they are advised by the 'firm' who sent them the file to do so.  When I spoke with Global Asset Recovery and requested something in writing, they refused.  They wanted my debit card number and I said no.  They won't give me their address for 'security reasons', but did tell me they are located on the east coast.  When I asked her to have the locator stop calling, she said until the issue was resolved she couldn't do that.  Scammers.  Making me crazy.  Called my sister and my landlord yesterday.  Ugh.
