I answered the call, which is something I usually don't do with these types of calls. It was different from most of the other calls of this sort that I get, as it had a live person on the other end. To be specific, a woman who seemed very skeptical of me when I told her I wasn't the person she was calling and that this was a new phone number. She asked if I knew the person who had the number previously, which I thought was totally ridiculous in our modern times.

When I asked to have the number removed, she told me she was required to obtain my full name, street address and phone number. I told her that was completely out of the question, considering they called me (and already have the number) and there is absolutely no reason they need the other information since I do not deal with their agency. I refused to give this info and hung up.

It's been two weeks since and they have not called back. I'm now past my 30-day waiting on the Do Not Call list.

This number just called me.   I dodnt answer.  Who are they?

who are these people who are calling at this number

somebody from this number call me ( 12.11.07) and said that A company PAy tech report debt needed to talk to me about my Debt. this woman left a message in my phone, I didn't call her back, because I tought  that could be a scam .
I was not sure if that was a truth call .
Please
provide me answers about that call please , let me know what that call was about.

THIS COMPANY IS A RIPOFF I HAD THE CREDIT PROTECTION WITH THEM CALLED TO CANCEL. THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE NEXT MONTH AND REFUSE TO GIVE ME A REFUND AFTER THE SUPERVISER SAID AS SOON AS THE CHARGE SHOWED UP ON MY BILL THE WOULD REFUND IT BACK TO ME. THE COMPANY IS CREDIT INFORM THEY ARE CONNECTED TO CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIPOFF.

I Got a call from this number (866-226-3745) asking to speak with me about an account with Credit inform. I Have a credit card through capitalone. They asked for my current address then about my previous address. Someone said to end this call, so i did. I realized just before that, it was weird to ask for my previous address.

they haven't called me but their number showed up on my statement and a charge of $5.99 was on my capital one account. they are trouble! i am trying to get the charge disputed. i have no idea what this is or where it came from. i canceled the protection plan right away.

Pls you can cancelled my creditinform and my protection plan because to much can i pay to much charges i have no money you can cancelled right now. pls.

866-266-3745 is the number for CREDITINFORM. A feature that Capital One credit card holders automatically get added to their account upon activation. This is supposedly used to keep your information safe (while charging you 5.99 a month) However they are added without letting you know and if you fail to pay creditcard bills guess who calls you.

found this number on my credit card bill with a charge of $8.99 . Never authorized this on my cap one account. will be calling them to reverse this charge........

Called to get the creditinform cancelled and they gave me the run around for 5 minutes saying how i shouldnt get it off. I told the person 3 times all i wanted to do was cancel it but they kept saying we recommend this and that. I hung up,called again and talked to a superviser. When you call thell them to get straight to the point!

I called to have my credit inform canceled, since they've been charging me for 2 months and I havn't even received a packet letting me know what it is they do, or how to work anything i supposedly now have access too. I spoke to Anthony, who was very friendly, and helpful( maybe a little flirty) He promptly canceled my account without any questions *I simply stated I never received the package* He refunded me the money that was charged *ill have it back in 1-2 days* and he even told me my current credit score before he canceled the account. I got some added words of wisdom about how to build my credit and what not to do while building it. Over all... it was a pleasant transaction and fairly easy. And I learned a few things :)
