I got this call at 8am monday morning.  It rang 21 times before they hung up.  Any idea's what this number is calling from?  I have tried to look it up, google, dogpile.com and there is nothing on it.

This person contacted my brother about my dads estate. She asked for me. I have no idea what this could be about.

Calling to collect a debt belonging to my deceased mother, and stating I was responsible for it.

It is Phillips and Cohen, a collection agency.  They handle, among other things, estate calls for Bank of America, Chase and regular credit card charge offs.  If they are contacting you about a deceased family member's credit card bill and you were an authorized user, you are NOT responsible to pay the bill, UNLESS, you used the card after the cardholder died.  But if there is an estate and you are either an authorized user or the power of attorney to the estate, the estate has responsibility if funds are available.  There are many things you can do to stop the calls in their tracks.
