Scam Duke Power collections.  First, caller ID showed only a 6 digit number.  When I answered, he claimed to be from Duke Power, told me a truck was on the way to my place to shut off electric for non payment.  Told him I'm not late.  Gave me this number to call 1-866-226-9759 for more info.  When called, they mask themselves by copying the recordings from duke power.  Did not matter what button you push, goes to a rep. threatening disconnection.  When pushed, he hung up on me.

Called my place of business claiming to be xcel energy. Said that our payment wasn't reflecting on the account and if we don't pay the power will be shut off within the hour. Our business has never missed a payment. Called the number back and it answers with the recording saying xcel, but it's not the same recording as the actual xcel company. He was also very rude on the phone telling me if I don't call my boss or pay the bill right now they will shut the power off immediately. It's a scam.

Another fake claim to be AT&T...my nonexistent DirecTV account "is qualified for 50% off.  This is the number they want people to call to "avail the discount."  Yeah, not happening.

Claim to be from ATT with a 50% discount on my DirecTV.
