Recently transferred car license and registration to Florida. Started receiving scam warranty notifications that are trying to look official. They also try to make it sound urgent ("IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED") with goal of tricking me into contacting them about my warranty ("Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract updated"). Umm, I haven't contacted you because I have no relationship with you and because I HAVE a warranty from the manufacturer, you idiots. Do people fall for this scam? Seriously annoying. This phone number is for Spanish language. They also provide a phone number for English language: 800-875-7897.

Very good chance that the DMV sold that info because you did not opt out.  Yes people fall for it otherwise they would not still be doing it.
