Got a call from people claiming that they are nationwide delivery service, trying to deliver a package from unclaimed assets.com...never had anything to do with them. So did some research ended up here, feel like an idiot for verifying info. Called left them a message as no one answers the phone that I am reporting it to the police!!

I panic too, but I got my check from them - took a few days longer then they said. not a very good company for answering phones but I am grateful as I thought it as a scam. 481.04..I didn't have before and need it. maybe be patient....

I researched them before I returned the call and all is good. The devliery driver that dropped off my box was very beautiful and nice. I wish I got money ;o)

Beware Reginald may be a scammer shill. unclaimedassets.com is registered by godaddy who wants you to login before they show you website registration details, a favorite trick of scammers. I would never deal with any website who hides its registration behind godaddy. If you think you've lawful unclaimed assets, try unclaimed.org instead. unclaimed.org's registration looks legit and no login needed to see it. *Never* pay $$$ up front to a stranger who calls you from out of the blue and only *says* that you have property coming to you. I think a legit company will work with you using paperwork through the US mail. If it's looks too good to be true ...

BTW, these *ARE* scammers because unclaimedassets.com is registered to "NUPA" (whatever that stands for) by godaddy while NAUPA = National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators is a real organization. These bloody scammers are trying hard to *mimic* the real NAUPA. I bet they want you to give them $$$ up front (Western Union, credit card, etc.) before they send you your alleged unclaimed property. THIS IS A SCAM.
