866-228-6047

Recorded call came in spoofing Apple Support's number saying they "found suspicious activity on [my] Apple account" and to call this number instead for help. Didn't call, as I'm sure this is fake and they want $$.

I got the call too.  Did not call back

Total SCAM... A recorded message was left, claiming to be calling from “Apple Support & wanting to check on suspicious charges & activity”. The call back number was not the same as what my caller ID showed. The computer said to call 1-866-228-6047 for more information. Again my  caller ID showed the # as 1-800-800-2775.

Received automated call about charges on Apple acct to call 866-228-6047. Did not return call. Call on id 800-800-2775

Same experience as others - recorded message claiming to be Apple support. Called from 800 800 2775, requested I press 1 or call above #. I did not call. Seems fraudulent.

Received call from 800-800-2775 said to call this number back 866-228-6047 I did person said my apple accounts had been hacked and not to use without connecting to computer etc advised no computers said someone in Russia is using my Apple ID and logging in out of country etc. said to go to nearest apple store and would give me location but did not they hung up on me. I am concerned

I also just received the call from 800-800-2775 and that I should “refrain from using any financial activities on my devices.”  and to call an Apple support representative at 866-228-6047. Then, there was a silent pause and the automated voice said, “Thank you for calling.” Obviously a scam.

This is a scam. I called apple support line, which we all have the number stored in our phones and they said it was 100% a scam.

Received the same call.......fraud.

Received voicemail from 1-800-800-2775 asking me to refrain from using my apple devices  as there was suspicious activity. Asked me to call back a different number and speak with an apple support rep at 866-228-6047. Did not call back after seeing other people comments that this is a scam.

I received the same call a few days after receiving an email that there was a suspicious charge on my apple account and I had 48 hours to dispute the charge all I had to do was click the link and sing in to my account.  I called Apple Support at 1-800-275-2273 which I found at https://support.apple.com and they told me it was a scam.

I received the same call and decided to call the number back from a landline. The person stated they were from Apple Customer Support. I asked why the Caller ID showed a different number and they hung up on me.

Same happened to me. They called twice and left the same exact message twice. 866-228-6047

Have received several calls from 866-228-6047, and some foreigners answer the phone and then immediately hang up.  Contacted Apple support and they have no idea who the number belongs too.

My story is the same. Call from 800-800-2775 saying they are an representative please refrain from any financial activity on your device due to suspicious activity. In order to speak with an Apple support representative right now please press one or else call us back on our toll-free number at 1-866-228-6047

Another vote for Apple scammers who will takeover your computer using GotoMeeting/GotoAssist and try to get you to input CC numbers or send themselves money

Ditto...two calls from 800-800-2775 instructing me to return the call at 866–228-6047. If you challenge their credibility and they can no longer go off of their script, they get flustered and hang up. They must be related to the bogus callers from the IRS and the Magistrate who is looking for you. It is sad that there will be one in twenty that will be duped by this unscrupulous group.

I got several calls from them and I called apple support of course it is a scam.. I told the guy who called he was a scamming mother you know what and to get a job he said it was his job and returned the foul mouth words back to me lol
