When I called this number back a man claiming his name was "Bob Johnson" who worked for "Global" but it was obsiously a scam. When I asked for the company address "Bob" sputtered and said said they weren't allowed to give that information out. They then claimed they were just a processing department and he fumbled through a "I'll forward my notes on to the right department" and quickly hung up. What a bunch of [***]. They're just bullies looking for a quick buck.

The person on the phone spoke with a Brooklyn sounding accent. He was sort of rude. Wasn't as rude as Debt Collection people I've spoke with in the past, but I could see how he could get to that level in a second had I not remained calm and tried to talk calmly.

Would not explain who he is, what company he was with, or what company he represented. To me that is the sign of a debt collector. He just said he works with a bunch of firms. When I told him he could call my cell phone, not my office, as I don't get calls at work, he refused to take any information down. He said if I do not call this number within 45 minutes they would show up at my office.

Should just send me a certified or something to sign for the letter to my house. I would definitely get it.

This person called from a "local" number in my town but also called ALL of my family members. Called me by my maiden name and told me in the message that I had "officially been notified."
