- PaulNo one responds, received 2 calls. No idea who this is?!
- Caller: unknown
- TJSomeone called from this number and didn't realized I picked up. They were talking to their co-worker about how people were upset they were calling on Easter weekend. No kidding.
Call was disconnected then.
I called back, after dialing *67 to block my number, and they identified themselves as a Bank of America identity theft vendor.- Caller: B of A or vendor representing.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MarijaCall reported on caller ID: 1-866-228-9162, all it says is "Toll Free Phone Number" or something to that effect. We did not answer. However, if Bank of America, they've been calling from a Canadian number (not subject to the Do Not Call rules for telemarketers as this applies to US telemarketers only) through a company called "Omega Direct Marketing", a company that specializes in direct marketing methods. I called them directly and asked to be put on their DO NOT CALL list, and hadn't had any calls for a week until this came in today. I need to look into it a little further to find out if this is the same marketing company.
- DJContinuing to receive calls from this number, despite repeated requests to not be called. Finally called back and confirmed that it is Bank of America selling some type of identity theft protection. They claim to be in U.S. and gave me 800 421-2110 to call and be removed. Don't know if this will work.

- Sheryl FolkertContinuously calls the house and cell phone (which I never gave to them in the first place). When I asked to be removed they gave me another telephone number to call, I called this number 10 different times before FINALLY reaching someone who said they would get my numbers off the list, however it would take 60 days to have them all removed and 90 days to be removed from any mailing list.

- P. Dan RoseSame as above, called me and when answered nobody on the other end......hang-up. Had 727-712-0382 calling my cell and wife's. Stored number as contact and set ringer ID to silent. They finally gave up after calling 2 to 3 times a day for a month. Seems there's not much you can do to stop these [***] marketers. Hope the yip above helps.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SGThey called me and tried to pronounce my name. I said yes, I am him.
They just hung up. - JackThese idiots call me at least once a day and have for the past six months.
Once I picked up the phone and didn't answer. It was silent on the other end and then I heard someone hang up. I am thinking of replacing my message with a high pitched ear-splitting squeal.
Everyone I know calls me on the cell and not the land line. - Missyjust to let you know, I was very annoyed with calls from Bank of america telemarketing, and searched for HOURS online and finally found this http://www.bankofamerica.com/privacy where you can opt out of their telemarketers (who by the way are an outside company that is hired by B of A)
A month later I've only had ONE call (just now) which isn't bad considering they say it can take about 5 weeks to get your # completely out of the system.- Caller: Bank of America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- corrine sullivancalling the house 10 times a day
- MariaIt's Bank of America. They started calling when my husband got a new credit card. They've switched marketing companies on us 3 times in the last 2 months. Whenever I get put on one "do not call" list, they stop calling for about 2 weeks, then start calling from another marketing company/phone number.

- JohnGot a call and asked for my wife. After checking out the phone log, noted to my surprise that since 09-15-07 out of 52 calls, 22 calls were from this phone number...B of A BETTER get a handle on this issue!!! If i was B of A, i would be very concerned that someone whether part of or not part of my company was bothering if not potential customers then my customers that are being badgered through the telephone. Will take a course of action in not doing any business with this establishment.

- Nice call handlingCalled my home for some for fraud protection. Spoke with a Lorrie miller but she sounded more like a Gupta. I asked not to be called and she actually commented back and started telling me about their services. Then I ask for a supervisor to take me off their list and she hit me with an F bomb....really they got that american dialect down pat if they are F bombing as well. Nice call handling. I don't really care about telemarketing heck its better than spam. How upset can a person get over a phone call. I just thought the overseas F bomb was a new one for me. Thanks BOA can I F bomb you guys over interest rates? Maybe I'll write that on my next card statement. Fees...F that....minimum F that too...Thanks for teaching me how to do business...f you.

- MeFYI everyone.
Filling out the "privacy" form on bankofamerica.com to stop receiving these calls does not work. Bank of America will continue to share your information...to a different set of telemarketers. Wow.
How could this be? I filled out the privacy form online. Here's why: if you read the fine print, there's a clause that says they can change the terms AT ANY TIME. In other words, anytime they feel like resuming calls, they can. For me, they already have started again, daily.
The kicker is that in order to complete the privacy request form online, you have to answer some marketing questions. Win-win for them.
Calls have resumed from a different set of numbers, this time: (213) 256-0047, among others.- Caller: Bank of America
