Got a call from unrestricted but the message left the number at 866-229-3439.  Looking for my brother regarding a case

Calling in reference to a court case #2050496. Sounds like a stale debt collector. They had blocked their caller ID but left the call back number. 866-229-3439

I just received a call from a Robert Davis July 14, 2016 from this same number that seems to be out of Kansas when reverse lookup searched. The Voicemail states, " I am seeking !@#$%^, on a pending case number 204-8639 with the US District Court. If you don't call me back I cannot help you."
If the US Court really wanted you Im sure they'd do things in a legal manner as in Court Subpoena to my work or house. They know when we poop. So, Im calling the local US District office to see if there really is a "case". If not this might be illegal telemarketing/debt collection practices.

Called three different phone numbers looking for a relative of mine.  Have called multiple times over the past few years.  We keep telling them where the relative lives (not with us) but they keep calling anyway.  Major nuisance!

I have never gotten a call from them, but I got a letter threatening wage garnishment, etc that included this phone number. I always Google anyone threatening to sue me over money. They have my address wrong in the letter but it got to me because the Zip code was correct. It's signed "Govern yourself accordingly, Lee Stewart Legal Administrator 866-229-3439." How patronizing! LOL! To my knowledge they've never called me. At the bottom it says it's an attempt to collect a debt. United Legal Partners is the name of the company. Don't send them money without debt validation or proof in writing they are legally able to collect on your debt.

My husband received a letter threatening a wage garnishment, etc. in the amount of $2383.44. We haven't received an actual call as of yet but it's hit or miss when you try to reach someone at this number. The letter is from Lee Stewart, Legal Administrator, 866-229-3439. I called the number to find out what this is about. The lady offered me a settlement that I could pay right then to make the legal action stop. I kindly told her that I'm not willing to pay a dime until I can validate this debt. She threatened to come after me and my wages as his wife. She told me that they can seize our bank accounts.

The letter says nothing about who this debt is owed to or where it originated from. They told me it was from a credit card that he had opened in 2007 and it was closed in 2011. I know exactly what is on my credit report and my husband's report. My husband has no recollection of ever having this credit card. This "credit card" issued from HSBC/Orchard is nowhere on any of his 3 credit reports. The lady I spoke to gave me the number to HSBC and the account number. HSBC has no record of an account for him under that account number or his SSN. I called her back and she gave me a different number and I got the same result.

I started looking more into the company today and found that the address is a virtual office and anyone can purchase it for $25. United Legal Partners doesn't even have a website. I found other sites like this one where people have reported the same thing. The first red flag was that they were trying to collect for a debt that isn't even on his credit report but more flags kept popping up as I looked into this. I plan on calling this lady back today and I'm going to call her bluff. I spent 2 hours trying to validate this debt and it simply doesn't exist.

I'm glad that I didn't just "settle" this case and pay any money to them. If you have received a similar letter, please investigate the debt they claim that you owe and make sure you validate it. Do NOT give them any money.

Don't give them any information. It may not even be your relatives. And since you keep giving them information they won't leave you alone.

They are digging deep. They are looking for a last name of Blair. I haven't been a Blair for 30 years. Told her I don't know who that person is, her comment "so you say". I hung up.

Bottom feeder debt collector trying to collect on a debt that is way past SOL.

[This "Lee Stewart" also signs off on a similar letter from something called JE Group.  See  844-560-6800 800notes.  JE Group is supposed to stand for Judicial Enforcement Group, He (Mr Lee Stewart) calls from other numbers too.  This latter group is another scam machine from Southern California. ]

This is a virtual office in Irvine CA.  Doubtful if they have a physical existence in California.

In any event this is most likely some sort of debt scamming operation.

Anyone who has received a letter by US mail from this group should take it down to the local post office and have the postal inspectors look it over.  This could be some sort of mail fraud.

Block and ignore any calls from this number or group names.

Nothing with the California Secretary of State that I can find.

They called all our numbers looking for one family member. Find it amusing that they all have very generic names - Mine was Dan Gates?  Wonder was he was looking at when he thought of this name?    No Reilly, Gonzalez, Stutzman, Staupolis, Singh and never anything Asian.

Called again.

This time a Dan Gates wants me to return his call. Last week it was a Mr Martinez. Lol.

I got papers in the mail with a case number 0002057652 is this real.

I just got the same threatening call on Thursday!

I received a call from my mother saying this number called her uncle looking for me. I called the number and immediately they started asking questions. I reported one like this a few years ago these ppl are brave they kept calling my job it's a scam ppl. By the way my great uncle and I dont live in the same state how they connect us don't know.

Just got the call looking for my daughter in law about a civil matter.
