Does anyone know who owns this number?

I'm in the process of trying to find this out... It is listed on our bank statement as Best Buy. The number produces a recording Time Magazine/Best Buy. We recently applied for a "free subscription" to Time Magazine through Best Buy. We never received the magazine, but we are trying to ascertain exactly how they obtained our credit card number, as we never provided it.

Yes it IS Best Buy-I got the "free" subscription too. And been getting CHARGED regularly for it ever since-$49.95 TODAY-4 days before payday. They got your number when you used your card to purchase at Best Buy. After the TRIAL subscription-you have to call that number to cancel-which I am doing tomorrow. What a waste of money-and they wonder why we say NO to everything. Why can't they just send the free mags and let US continue it??

To our horror we found the $49.95 Twx*Time/Best Buy POS deduction on our bank account.  Somewhere in our past we had a Time subscription, and Time is automatically renewing it.  Just call the number - 866-230-2625 don't give your account 'cause they can look it up by zip code, name, and address, and they, if you say you want the cancellation, will do so.  Know, however, that they will try their best to give you a great deal to re-subscribe.  They credited our account as they said "within 7-10 days."

yep,  i never signed up for or recieved any magazines.  Somehow they charged my card number at Best buy in new york three times in the last year to the sum of 169 bucks.  Currently on hold with 1.866.230.2625.  think it is "sounds of the seasons" occasionally a "all the lines are busy" chick chimes in to let me know everything is going to be OK.
