Five calls came in between 6:27am and 10:30am on a Saturday morning. While I answered none of them, each left a recorded message that began near it's end, because it must have started playing as soon as the machine picked up the line, without waiting to determine if it were an answering machine. The part of the message recorded stated something like "...monitoring. Press 1 to accept this service, press 6 to receive no more calls from this exchange." needless to say, I pressed nothing. But 6:27 in a Saturday morning? And a robo-call to boot?

I do not answer unknown numbers. These people called me three times, between 5 and 6 a.m., on 4-29-10. They woke me up at an hour too early for me to wake up- in my sleep-work cycle, and a machine was the caller. It left voicemails all three times. I do not wish to receive calls from them. I placed my number on a "do not call list"   It seems like that was just the opposite, as if my number is somehow MORE visible than before.

If this number appears on your caller ID, it is a phone call from someone you know who is in jail or a correctional facility.
