These people called my dad and my sister staring I need to call them about a civil matter. I don’t have an civil matters that has ever been addressed to me via mail.

I received the same call. I googled Shaffer and Associates and they had no idea about the call. It was no one from their office.

Just received the same call. They said my mom needs to call 866-231-6335 regarding a civil matter. They gave a case number and said if they don't get a call back by the end of the day, litigation will proceed. Obviously I'm not returning their call.

Called my wife then me. Civil suit. Talked to the desk guy..Gave me all kinds of stuff saying it was from 1997...called from private number...

received call 6/19/19 from private # which I normally do not answer. Told they were calling on behalf of shaffer & assoc regarding pending civil complaint. Said I should have received usps notification sent 3 weeks ago. When I asked where it was mailed to they gave me an address I have not lived at for almost 6 yrs.
Told me to call this number and give them case # she had given me to speak with case manager.
Not calling because there are no cival complaints against me. I HATE SPAMMERS / SCAMMERS

called me and mother stating i have a civil suit pending and that litigation was going to start , said i owed 2522.40 to us bank from 2007 , i called us bank THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RECORD OF ME BEING IN COLLECTIONS WITH THEM .. THIS IS SOME TRASH

Scary they have all my info. Address, phone number and SS. I will have to report them and file a dispute. Scary stuff.

They are well known Junk/Invalid debt Scammers. They're about as scary as a Hang-nail! Ignore them & block their calls if you're able to.

Called saying trying to reach my dad about a pending civil suit and have me a case number. Scam

Called me and then called my aunt talking about a civil suit.   Gave me a case number starting with some letters and then numbers.   Pissed me off.

Got a call from the same # 866-231-6335 however; it was an unknown caller on my ID and when I asked what company he was working for he didn’t say and wouldn’t say. I do not have a civil suit and the address he gave was one I haven’t lived at in 8 years. It’s ridiculous. Not calling anyone from that phone number the man gave me bc it’s a scam!!!!

This number keeps calling me about getting in contact with Rhonda about a case.  It is annoying.  He said his name is Brandon.  Something about Fairbanks North Star.

An agent from Shaffer and Associates called me on a Monday regarding a threatened litigation, and left a case number. I returned the call, and an agent named Chase Matthews bitched that he was just shutting everything down, but then said I had an old debt of $1851.00, and that if I didn't pay it by that Thursday, litigation would follow and the debt would increase to $2930. I said there is nothing in writing, and I will not pay anything, not knowing what this is. He argued back. He said the debt was from 2009, had the county wrong where I lived at the time...total skunk. There was a lot of background noise, as if he was calling from a home.
