Thought there was to be a stop of unwanted calls but they are as rampant as ever    Number locked.

CID Toll Free Call no message left

Just received a call from this number, listed as "UNKNOWN NAME."  Like I am going to answer that call!!!  Left no message, so it must NOT have been important to either party.  Immediately blocked it on my Call Blocker device.  Good riddance!!

My caller ID said St Jude.  I did not answer and no message was left.

Looks like St Jude hospital.

The Do Not Call Registry works for legit companies who you have not contact before you added your number to the registry, not scammers.   Also charities, political calls, etc. are exempt.

They hang up on recorder with NO etiquette ala "sorry wrong number" or "this is so&so, calling about this&that" = JERKS, potential SCAMMERs
Calling them back = HELLO HELLO, never a biz name or other

You can "VOTE for those promising to STOP such nonsense" but what exactly do you think they can do? The only 100% surefire way to not get scam calls is to not have a phone in the first place.
