called cell phone, no message

This is a valid number for Discover card fraud services. No call received, I called them after verifying it's on their web site and searching in general. (I showed up in an email and I'm just a bit skeptical!

It may be a valid number for Discover but as phone numbers are easily spoofed it's wise to never give random callers personal information, even if it appears to be coming from a legitimate source. If you receive such a call, hang up and call the number on the back of your card or on your statement.

This is the Discover Card fraud line. I received a text about fraudulent charges, and this is the call back number. I did check my online account,  and there were two bad charges.

I got a text message from an unidentified text source asking if I recognized a transaction on my Discover card, stating who was charging, and the amount. I was to text back Y or N. Upon texting back I was directed to call this number. This number connected to Discover Fraud Prevention, and they will ask questions to verify your identity before asking anything about the "unauthorized charge". Just to be clear, initially I got a text msg and did not receive a call; the number was provided later, as a follow-up.

Got a call from them and I don't have a discover account.

Frequent missed calls from this number. I owe no debt collectors and have no Discover account. No message is ever left.
