Some sort of a survey, didn’t participate

Second time in two days told them not interested
It’s about survey

Called asking for a survey on behalf of Canada I declined and hung up.

Wanting to do a survey about our federal government.  What was strange was this on the heals of a computerized survey from 778-402-9532

Didn't leave a message, just ignored it.

Didn’t answer no message left

More than a dozen calls between this number and its apparent 'partner' 866-245-0039 over the last 2 weeks, at all hours between early day (8AM) and late evening (9PM), including weekends.  I have ignored most, which are simply hang-ups without message.
Today I attempted to answer in early afternoon, and still got only a hang-up.
There is no caller ID, only an 'Out of Area' message.

They said they wanted to do a survey on issues in my community. I hung up, wasn’t doing it based off of Facebook warnings saying they wanted people to say ‘yes’ of some sort. Not sure if it’s legit, but I’m sure whoever it is does not care about a tiny, rural community in Nova Scotia

You can't believe everything you read on Facebook. There is no documented proof of anyone being harmed by simply saying "yes". Think about it - if it was all that was needed to open an account, for example, why would it need to be your voice saying it when anyone's would do?

Didn't answer. But called yesterday and again today.

Calls continue if you don’t pick up 10-20 times - it’s beyond abusive - I don’t know why our phone companies continues to sell these lines to known telemarketers or surveyors who call for criminal purposes and yet don’t give paying customers resources to stop the calls -personally I do not want calls from overseas period and I should be able to restrict my line

I use Telus' Call control and never actually have these people ring but can document who "tried to call" and "when" they tried. Investigate similar programs across the country. There is no charge for me. Anything automatically dialed will be stymied when asked to press an additional number. If they are actually a person on the other end you can add the number to a blocked list. Works like a charm.

Picked up...no one on lie

Call display shows long distance/unknown number so don't pickup. Has called twice this week ...always at suppertime.  So much for the having my number on the Do Not Call List.

Yet another person who signed up for the DNC list without bothering to read what it does & doesn't do.  Here's a hint: it's not a call blocker.

Calling supposedly as a survey firm working with National Grid.  Started to respond, but quickly quit.  didn't trust them.

I have Bell Mobility, which flagged this call as "spam".  Got to love it!  Let it ring and then add it to my block list.  As for phone numbers that are not flagged as such, I use the following:  If it's not a number I recognize, I do not answer.  If no message is left, I block.

On a Sunday FFS! Hung up and blocked number.
