I called this number back, they've called me at least 4 times today already.  It says they are 'teleperformance'.  you can leave a msg to have then take you off their calling list (it states this will take 31 days).  I'm on the national do not call list, and yet they are still calling??!!

The message is for Reliance Home Comfort.  They have been calling me every half hour for five days.  Unfortunately, I called them for service once, of which they couldn't help me because I was out of their service area.  Guess it is that easy to get on their phone list. Every 1/2 hour.  Give me a break!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same issue last week from another number from teleperformance apparently servicing the Bank of Montreal, i had called back twice to get off the calling list now im being called about something different!
I filed a complaint on the Do not Call website, under called with dead air. They will - with enough complaints likely get in trouble...

I did some more research and i got this number off thier website, press 6 to leave a message to get off the list, and this operator says it will be removed in 48 hours instead of 31 DAYS which is stated on the recording when you call that number back.

They just called me on my pay and talk Cell phone.  I called them back left a message to have my number removed.  If they don't stop I will sue them for harasment or something and get them to pay my phone bill for the rest of my life.  F'n telemarketing is a huge [***].

I can confirm that this is Reliance Home Comfort calling.

They are calling to sell you a furnace maintenance service package.

I just wish their calling system wouldn't give 'dead air' 10 times before before you actually get to talk to someone.
That truly pisses me off more than anything about telemarketers!!

10 times today. This is driving me nuts. I called and hit 6 as per advice above and all I got was v-mail. Teleperformance sucks! I can't wait to get a live person instead of dead air. They will be looking for another job after I'm done with them. Reliance should know better.

With the telemarketing business taking a beating the way it has over the past while, these firms are fighting for their careers.

AND I DON'T CARE!

I called them up and left a very nice message that said that I don't ever want to hear back from them; they're about as cordial as a homeless beggar, and that I wanted my number taken off their DO NOT CALL list; and if they continued to call, my lawyer would enjoy talking to them.

Of course, in typical Dizzy form, I wished them a "Merry Christmas, [***]!" at the end of the call.

THESE GUYS CALLED EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST WEEK. Trust me, I'd rather deal with a local firm (my girlfriend works for one, so I'd go there....if I lived in a house, hahaha!) but still. Don't piss me off.

I am receiving up to 14 calls a day from 866-245-3002. I am on the national DO NOT CALL list. This is harassment.

sometimes 10 times a day at all hours of the day, sometimes within minutes of each other. when you answer there is no one there and it disconnects the call after about 5 seconds. companies like this deserve to have HUGE fines for harrassing people. who would ever want to buy anything from these pieces of #@!& ?

like everyone else this number calls every hour on the hour from about noon til 9 at night. won't leave a message was the first hint it was not a typical number, but a telemarketer. It's bad enough I get their junk mail, now the harrasing phone calls are about to drive me insane. Are they even aloud to this is if your are on the National Do Not Call List, or was that just a joke for all of us poor suckers out here that put our phone number on it...oh excuse me my phone is ringing again, and guess who it is!!!!!!

This number has called my parent's house 23 times in one day.  A few of those calls were within 5 minutes of one another.  This is beyond agrivating.  

Checking things out on the net, it has come to my attention that the "lovely" Do Not Call lists have now been sold.  You can buy 600 000 names for $50 US.  Charming.  

To quote the reporter, "They should have called it the Please Call Me List instead!"

the number mentioned below by someone else is the correct number but instead I thought it was appropriate to leave 11 messages for the CEO of teleperformance (one for every call I got in the last 2 days).  Her name is Erifili Morfidis.  You can get her direct voicemail by dialing 416-922-3519, hitting 1 for english, hit # for other options, 2 for the company directory, and then when prompted key in the first 4 letters of her last name 'MORF' and wait.

I politely asked in each message to be removed from the list stating that each call I got would be returned with another call to her.  Obviously can't be harassment unless it is harassment both ways.

They do their research and they target the weak and frail. They'll call and call until you buy their product/service. They are relentless and they will get you, sooner or later. Next will come the door knockers and they will want your utility account numbers. They'll tell you your water heater is old/rusted/inefficient/last years model colour/wrong size and will try to get you to sign away your tank. If that fails they send out the trucks with radio frequency generating equipment. They beam this at your house and it destroys your expensive electronic controls on your furnace. Or they momentarily crank off your gas meter to kill your pilot light (footprints in the snow around your meter?) Suddenly your without heat and then you need to call them. Now the fixer guy tries to get you to buy a new appliance and what do you know? So you buy. Thats how they get you.

No [***]! Thats exactly what they do. I had this happen. I never put 2 and 2 together!How do they do the radar beam thing though?

Request to speak to their floor supervisor, be firm and tell them to take you off their calling list, if they say it takes 30 days tell them this can be accomplished by removing your name from the dialer data base in less than a few minutes.  One more phone call and your lawyer will be contacting them.

Everyone should start filing a complaint on the nationa DNL site. I'm thinking of doing for every call they give me and I agree with everyone that the most annoying part is not being able to reach someone on the other line to tell them to remove us from their list.
