Just got a text message from "Suntrust" saying I have a voicemail from Suntrust and to call this number. I have never had an account with Suntrust so it must be a scam of some sort. I did call the number from my home phone and it rang several times, then said "all lines are busy please call again later." I also live in northern GA.

Just got a text message from this number as well....saying I had a voicemail from Suntrust. I don't bank with them....but I do know someone who works there....so I called teh number. I got the same thing...it rings then says "all lines are busy please call again later." I live in northern ga.

I got a the same text message today around 11:47. They said I had a voice mail message at voicemail@suntrust.com then provided the 866-245-3816 number to contact them. Like everyone else I did not provide any info. but kept keying 0 for operator. Never spoke to a live person so I called Sun Trust and I was the second call they've received today. They said it is definitely a scam. I don't have an account with them either.

I live in Northern California (and have been for 3 years), but I stiil use a 678 GA cell phone number. I received the same text message this morning at 9:00am. And like everyone else, I have never banked with SunTrust. I called the number and heard a recording advising that this is a scam.
