Never left message.  Called back, to find out what the company was.

Called at 6:30am..no idea who it is.

Somehow they got my name and my son's name and said something about a Excel Collection Agency and something to do with cable.  However, when I called my son, he told me he never had cable and my wife pays the cable at home.  Sounds like a scam to me.  When I looked their number up it did not match the company's number.  I've notified the company.

When you called back did they give you any information?  They left me a message claiming to be a collection ageny.  The fellow had a very heavy French accent.

Turns out it was a legitimate caller from a collection agency and the claim was not about cable, but rent instead.  Regardless the landlord put a claim in that was paid back in October, but forgot to inform the collection agency.  All is well.

Just received a call from 866-245-3977.  The young lady was very professional and asked for someone whose name is very close to my wife's.  It was something to do with a claim with Child Services.  I told her no-one here with that name and she apologized for the inconvenience.
