It's a "US Bank" phone number. It's their financial/collection department.

This was US Bank.  My lease is up they wanted me to figure out what I wanted to do.  If you do business with US Bank you may want to take the call.

Got a call from this number and they left a message saying it was about my lease. Well I have had this number for about 10 years and not only have I never had an account with US Bank ever, I do not have a leased vehicle. I am confused as to how they got my number and why they are calling me. I just called and after waiting on hold for about 6 minutes, they said they would gladly take my number off of the account is was tied to. We shall see if they call again.

Recorded message asking you to call USBank.  We have no business with USBank.  Not calling USBank, if that's their real name.

Legitimate phone number, when your lease matures the bank needs to know what you intend to do.  If you have no loan with US Bank, then perhaps somebody is spoofing their number.

That is great advice to people who don't understand the concept of WHY you would want to Lease a car, as opposed to financing one or renting one. For those who do understand what a Lease is for, they will certainly disagree with you. Leasing a car is great for those who like having a new car every couple years and willing to sacrifice the money to enjoy that "new car smell" all the time.
Leasing a car is basically "long term renting" with the option to buy or return the car at the end of the Lease

I think that better advice would be to actually understand the contract you signed.  Better advice would be to do the math to see whether you could save money by leasing or buying.  Better advice would be to actually know what you are getting into.
