No message, hang-up

comes in first as 'out of area-- told to not call this number as it is on the do-not-call list. Said I would call and report , and they call back on the 866 number over and over; very foreign speech, heavy accents.

let the answering machine take care of it... they called twice in a matter of minutes and hung up both times...  i think BOB is correct.  i remember my housemate talking to a durocraft (?) company selling sealent. might be them.

Just wanted to inform you of a potential scam...caller who called my house two times urgent to speak with me...said he was calling from Patriot Furnace and Roofing Company to schedule an appointment with me to clean my roof and furnace pipes leading to my roof. He was insistent on needing to clean it tomorrow as he would be in my area. He said that we had used him before about 6 years ago and it was time for a cleaning again. He was going to charge me $115 to clean it but the inspection was free. I said I needed to check with my husband and would get back to him. I asked him for his name and he said it was Danial Adams and I should call back this number 1-866-250-9289. He knew my name and address...so I was a bit skeptical and concerned as this person had called my number not too long ago about 2 months ago for the same purpose. Not sure what these people are up to ...but it can't be anything good. Afraid this whole thing is a set-up and scam so please beware of these people. I researched the web for their numbers and said Willow Grove, PA and found other people who had received this not so legit call as well. So...makes me wonder if they are in the robbing business. Make sure to report any suspicious behaviors to the police regarding these people...and call 911 as I am about to make a serious report. Sincerely, Sue

I am on the do not call, and they called me at 9 PM, so I reported them.

Called but they wouldn't talk, I'm suppose to be on the do no call list, but I've been getting phone calls like crazy in the past year, so what is going on with the do not call?

Called twice asking to talk to owner.  Said I was one then he hung up.  He called back and said he was calling about spray.  I asked for a number to be called back and he hung up again!!!!  Very annoying!
