- Bob the BearNo identity/ Would not leave message.
- beckaCalled and left a message about a supposed payroll issue. Didn't say who they were or who they were looking for. I have no payroll issues so I suspect a scam.
- Matt| 2 repliesThis is not a scam. It's a legitimate phone call from Public Partnerships, LLC. It helps financially to those who care for their loved ones who are unable to care for themselves, whether it be due to recent hospitalization or whatever the case might be.

- Slim replies to MattThe phone number shown in this thread is NOT listed at the Public Partnerships site or on their BBB page.
If we are to believe you, please provide a link to a Public Partnerships page that displays this phone number. - LRLeft message claiming to call from Public Partnerships LLC, asking me to call back to resolve payroll issue. IT'S A SCAM. Previous commenter "Matt" must be a troll. Their website shows a banner from the VA DMAS, but the URL is not from any official VA State Government site. They try to appear to be legit, but they are not. The legit URL is http://www.dmas.virginia.gov. Besides, the phone number they used 866-259-3009 is not an official Public Partnership phone number

- TW| 1 replyIt is legit. I take care of my disabled mom. I get paid by Medicaid to take care of my mom. Public Partnerships also known as PPL, is who I receive my paychecks from. The 866-259-3009 is the number for the aides who take care of disabled people to call when there is a problem with their paychecks. The phone number may not be listed publicly, but after I sign in to the PPL website, I can see that number listed. I also have had them call me when I had a problem with my time sheet, and they left this number to call. I just do not know why some of you have received a call from them if you are not affiliated with PPL.

An earlier post stated the call was from Public Partnerships LLC.
If you Google that name, you get a completely different set of pages than the publicpartnerships.com site.
The latter page is Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services, and DOES use the phone number shown in this thread.
However,
There is also a possibility that the CallerID you see is NOT that of the real caller! The bad guys can spoof or fake what you see on your caller ID, and they can use "real" phone numbers to make you believe the call was from a legitimate company.
