Picked up the call and got a recording about car insurance or extending car warranty. Something like that. Obviously a SCAM. I hung up. As for the "super nice guy who lives there" mentioned by the previous person. DUH. No one "lives" at an 866 number.

They having been calling nonstop. Annoying.

Tired if this type of harassment.  Going to make a police report and file charges.

i am so angry about these calls...i want to devote my life to finding out who they are and where they are...
i'm surprised how little information is available...did many reverse lookups, but nothing, filed a complaint with the FTC, but nothing. why isn't information about these companies public? if they register for a toll-free number as a "legitimate" business, they should be traceable BY consumers. is the FCC and the FTC doing there job?

I did not know this caller when I saw the number, so I did not pick up the phone. No message was left.

This number is using Phone harassment by calling every 45 minutes  then hanging up or not leaving a message.

This number left a message to vote for JB as the California gov. You know what to do when you receive such junk calls...vote the opponent.

Except the opponent Meg Whitman has called many times more. LOL

Stop voting for democrats and republicans. Just stop it. Otherwise you get what you deserve, and the rest of us get what you deserve which really sucks.

Yup, this number called me and wanted me to vote for JB, too.  I won't vote for Whitman, because I don't like her, but will call JB's office and complain about phone harrassment.  For whatever that's worth...

I'm voting for my cat as a write-in.  She's smart enough to wake me up at 7 every morning to feed her,  tells me when I have visitors and then inspects each one to make sure they meet her standards to be allowed in the house, has control over both my dogs whom she uses to get short-cut baths from and then herds them into their crate for safekeeping.  She tells me loud and clear when the water dish is getting low, and yells at me if I forget to make lunch or dinner on time.  She watches TV with me and yeows at me if she doesn't like the channel until I change it.  She loves to ride in the car, and yeows at me if I forget to stop at the mailbox.

With her sense of timing and propriety, I'm sure she could turn in a state budget on time, and the way she tells me when to fix food, I imagine she'd make sure everyone in the state had enough food and a warm place to be.

Darn better than any candidate I've seen so far...

I got a call from this number today. It turned out to be a political call from the Jerry Brown for Gov. campaign here in CA. Needless to say, I let it go to voicemail.

Make sure the report you send is to the FCC since the local police have no jurisdiction over out of area calls.
The FCC (Federal Communication Commission) is in charge of those types of calls. Best wishes!

I got a call from this number and I don't even live in CA yet.  I am moving there however in November.  November 6 and that is too late to vote LOL!!!

When  called  bck I got a recording hat allowed me to opt out in the future by pressing 1.

Just received a call from this number. It is a poll asking if

If they hang up when you answer...it is a computer documenting what time the phone was answered. I have been told that if you pick it up and instantly hit the pound sign 10-15 times it confues the system and they drop that number form repeat dialing.
