Telemarketers selling prescription drugs and diet pills. Company Name: United LLC, DBA (doing business as) US Pharmacy. Originally located at 2420 South 17th Street, Unit C; Wilmington, NC 28401. Another phone number for them is (910) 796-9600. This online pharmacy was run by a Dr. John Tuite, who in April 2006 went before a state pharmacy commission and had his license suspended, with a review scheduled for later to possibly revoke his license altogether. The review commission was investigating John Tuite for selling prescription drugs online. This he did without a physician's prescription or the physician's knowledge of the patient's online drug purchases. This is illegal.
Customer's telephone numbers entered at the time of ordering online were later sold to and used by a myriad of online pharmacies in foreign countries and ships stationed offshore; to avoid United States Prescription Drug laws, and to avoid fines from the "Do Not Call Registry" organization. When the heat gets turned up, these clever telemarketers simply call from new phone numbers, and most frustrating is they have found ways to avoid having their number show up on a caller ID. It's up to you whether you want to answer your phone or not; pursue a course of action or not. It's probably best to just ignore them.
