Called me at work and said something like: "- .. I wish you a good luck, if you do not call me back .."  :))

He called and said he was CRA. I told him to stop calling and he asked me if I wanted to .......... his........  these scammers need to stop.

SCAMMERS pretending to be CRA. Threatening with arrest by RCMP. They want to obtain your personal information! Some are very convincing DON'T FALL FOR IT AND DON'T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

SCAMMERS! They claim you owe CRA money and there is a law suit and arrest warrant outstanding. They ask you to pay outstanding balance. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

This number called me today  and left a message, saying if I don't get back to them that there will be serious consequences. I have been warned and good luck with what will happen next

Same as what everyone else is saying. Fake CRA leaving messages on my work phone. I, unfortunately, keep missing the call.

"Received this message. I need either you or your attourney to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Craig Williams and the hotline to my division is 1-866-259-9874. I repeat that's 1-866-259-9874 now don't try to disregard this message and do return the call. If you don't return the call. So I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation..."

Same issue than the other people ! They call me without letting a message so I called them back.
they asked my name in order to identify who called me. After that they kept me an hour in call saying that It was not possible for me to leave the call because I would be arrest. they asked me to choose between 2 options: pay in advance the taxes or fight againt the government an go in front of the CRA…. REALLY BE CAREFUL IT IS A SCAM. They scare you and push you to pay. They speack in English and if you want a french speaker they tell you  that the french department is in exceptionnal leave.

Got the same call today exact same message and called as the CRA

A partial message left on my cell phone answering service despite the fact that I rarely give this number out to anyone. Claimed to be Canada Revenue. Quite obviously a scam. Threatened me with legal action.

Told my Bank of America debit card was compromised. Said I needed to call a number provided to verify my information. Called Bank of America. My card was not compromised and it was a total scam. They tried to get my personal information.
