I just got called from this number, no answer just got hanged up.

Fraud, pretending to be Scotiabank

I too got a call saying there are from Scotia bank and it did show me Scotiabank on callerID as well.. Phew, I taught for a second and didn't give my informations

A guy called from Scotia bank saying my account package changed and asked for personal information to confirm.

Caller ID appeared as Scotiabank, silence when picked up. Probably a scam because this is not the same number appeared on Scotiabanks website

It is a phishing phone call, do not answer or confirm anything.

Called me on a saturday. caller id said scotiabank. Asked me for middle initial and postal code. I didnt give any info but he kept saying they are outbound calling from halifax (atlantic region) and that they need to confirm info about account that will be changing next month..seemed weird

Received call that showed up as Scotiabank on my phone ID.  Offering me the newest highest interest bank account.  Can provide me with information once I verify my account.  Asked for my middle initial and birthdate.  I asked for them to tell me the new account name and that i'd check it out online later.  Told me not visible.  I said "it's not a posted account?".  Told them that I'd just go into my bank to get the information.  Told me that they wouldn't be able to access.  She said she'd make a note on my file to follow up again after I've verified with bank.   Sorry seems like a scam.

Got a call with caller Id scotia bank. But I don’t have any business with scotia bank. Didn’t pick up and they left no voice message. Seemed like a scam.

I called my scotia bank agent and she said they did not recognize this number as a Scotia bank service anywhere

I hung up on her before I called her a nasty name that rhymes with a base ball swing.
they have called before to my work federal number, so I womnder if its being "spoofed"?

got the call at 8:45 PM did not answer.  obviously still circulating same number

Likely a generic title placed by a service provider. You never know if they are correct until you check out a website like 800notes and find out for sure.

They called me offering a 7.18% interest rate on a bank account. The person was very unprofessional, and I actually tried to open the account. The call was very believable however, they had my name, address, and new that I already had a loan with Scotiabank. They even confirmed that they sent me an email that I would receive a call. The email was an official scotiabank email. I'm trying to call Scotiabank now to talk to their fraud department
